Terrain Class scene

Paul will be teaching attendees a “hands on” how to enhance your game table terrain using simple methods of painting, layering, washing, and flocking your terrain.

Learn the basics of terrain painting and a variety of simple techniques. This class is very beginner friendly and open to students with no experience in miniature painting. We will cover dry brushing, over brushing, sponging, under-coating, layering, and finish off with a wash and flocking.

Paul Smith

Paul Smith has been playing Dungeons & Dragons and other tabletop RPGs for over 10 years, and began printing and painting both terrain and miniatures two years ago. With five years of experience teaching computer science at the college level, Paul combines hands-on hobby knowledge with a passion for teaching and helping students gain confidence with new techniques.

His goal for this workshop is to show how approachable, fast, and rewarding terrain painting can be, while helping new painters overcome the intimidation of getting started.”
