The elders of Malforten, a small rural village on the frontier of the Kingdom of New Aenoch has sent word to Gunz, a small walled city in the Kingdom of New Aenoch to petition the lord of Gunz for assistance. Villagers have gone missing and strange activity has been noted at an old, abandoned cemetery outside of Malforten. The lord of Gunz does not have any one to spare as Empress Pryzmira, ruler of New Aenoch, has called for a crusade to expand the kingdom and allowing those bold enough to participate to keep the lands they clear if they swear fealty to her and New Aeonch. Provided they can keep the land they clear. Your group saw a flyer and reported to the Sherrif in Gunz and with little formality your group was given the commission to investigate these issues plaguing Malforten. Travel is along a road known as the West Way and the journey takes a week to reach Malforten. The pay was generous with 2 silver pieces per day (including travel) per person and a pint of rum each. Who could say no to that offer! |

Spring of 1939, world tensions rise as Germany seems to be following an aggressive agenda with Poland. People whisper of war to come but some Americans see it as a “European problem.”. The FBI have been notified that a significant piece of technology has been “misplaced.”. You are the task force responsible for locating the missing technology and returning it to your home office. Your orders are to use all means available to find the technology. Unusual for the FBI, but verbally you were instructed by your superior that deadly force was authorized. However, there is no written order stating this. Your only lead is a technician/engineer held at an FBI safe house in Los Angelas. There are also rumors of foreign agents operating in Los Angelas. Failure to recover the misplaced technology will have dire consequences for the U.S of A. Good luck, agents! |
