With the help of another visiting craft they have determined that the rogue comet is in fact a derelict spacecraft, and it is on a collision course with the main inhabited area of the asteroid belt. Transponder signals from the object identify it as the frontier cruiser Chandor, which was declared lost during the Forth Frontier War, 85 years ago. The players are asked by the Caliburn government to find a way to divert the cruiser. Of course, any salvage from the cruiser would be free for the taking. |
